This Chinese Red Star SKS mount was imported by Keng’s Firearms Specialty back in the early 80’s. The all steel one-piece mount replaces the receiver cover on the Poly Technologies SKS and has been known to fit some Norinco and other Type-56 Chinese versions of the 7.62x39 SKS rifle. The mount is better quality and has better fit and finish than most mounts of this type. This mount was imported for an optional accessory on the original PolyTech SKS. We have not tried all variations of the Chinese SKS so we can only guarantee fit on the PolyTech rifles.
In order to make a complete affordable Chinese SKS Scope package, we have paired this mount with a compact Aim 4x30 scope and rings. The scope has a rugged one piece tube construction, and multi-coated optics provide less light loss and reduced glare. It is then Nitrogen purged to eliminate internal moisture. Since this scope is Water Proof, Shock Proof and Fog Proof we thought this would be the perfect affordable set-up for your Chinese SKS rifle.
