    I originally bought this for the cap to put on an ironwoods designed grip (they didn't make them or sell them with the caps at the time). This is the larger checkered grip and the cap is too big to fit the one I had wanted it for (a Hungarian FEG AK pistol grip ferrule cap would fit it)BUT, this grip feels so much better in the hand and looks great so I decided just to use it as is. I am very pleased with this purchase :)

    I was hesitant about buying this because of the price. But after looking around and seeing that this was actually the cheapest around, I took the plunge. I'm very happy I did. It arrived in 3-4 days with regular shipping and is in perfect condition. Amazing quality too. I just wish that it came with the 4.5" screw. I didn't even think to measure the one that came on my MAK 90 stock, which is only 4". So had to buy that separately. That's my fault, not PolyTech's. The fact that it comes with a ferrule cap is a huge plus since they are impossible to find anywhere. I recommend this to anyone who want an authentic look and feel. Worth the money.

    I put this on my MAK 90 to match the Ironwood Design Russian Red stock set. The color matched perfectly. The grip is in perfect condition and was stored well oiled. The checkering was done very nicely and the fatter stature is a great addition.

    Polytech really came through! No one else had the original grip for my Mak 90 project at a decent price. I bought the dark grip they were packaged very well. The fit and finish is so sweet! Thank you PolyTech.

    I bought two blonde grips and two dark wood grips. All four came wrapped individually and look like they are brand new. Polytech did a great job packing and shipped very quickly.
